How to get to Zazil Tunich We are going to a place shrouded in mystery and reserved for explorers like you, who hope to live an enigmatic and unique experience, which is located 25 km and approximately between 20 and 30 minutes from Valladolid depending on the speed of travel. Your mission begins in the Magical Town of Valladolid, from the historic center of the city head along 41st Street, approximately 9 blocks after passing the Military Base, you will reach the last avenue of the city. This street will eventually join the MEX 180 highway, following the signs to Cancun on the free road, an avenue, a gas station and a GoMart will indicate that you are leaving the city of Valladolid, heading to the first town of your journey, Ticuch. You must be very attentive, because after traveling 8 kilometers, you will reach the town of Ticuch, Continue along the main street and it will guide you to your destination. View of the entrance to the town "Tikuch" Once in the town you must continue your journey for 1 kilometer more until you find yourself at the exit of the town, with a police checkpoint. This reference point will indicate that you must turn left, entering the 11 km road to Yalcoba. The police checkpoint is an indication that you must turn left following the sign that says "Yalcoba". As you advance, the first 8 km and after passing some speed bumps in small towns, a peculiar curved bridge will confirm that you are on the right path. Bridge near the town of Yalcoba, you are on the right track, go up it and the town will be further ahead. When you reach Yalcoba, pay attention when you reach the last speed bump before crossing the town's central park, here you will have 2 options. Option 1 – At the corner of the mini-supermarket turn right towards Calle 9 and at the next corner, turn left and continue along this road out of town for 6 kilometers, a road will open in front of you, you will find signs indicating that the road takes you to the town of “Xtut”, this indicates that you are on the right path. Option 2 – Cross the mini-supermarket and arrive in front of the municipal palace, where you will find the walls of the church and some signs, to turn right going around the municipal palace, reach the corner and turn left on the way to the town of Xtut. Stay alert, after passing the town of Yalcoba because Zazil Tunich is located in this last section at km 6, it is a rural road where you can meet the Mayan villagers coming and going from their ranches on their bicycles and motorcycles, you must be careful in this last section, remember that you will not find signs for Zazil Tunich until you have arrived, since only those who have reservations arrive and with the objective of making the experience more exclusive. Entrance to the Yax-Hal town You will know that you have arrived when you see a sign on the left side of the road that indicates the entrance to Zazil Tunich at km 6 and then a Mayan stone wall that at the end, approximately 100 meters, indicates the entrance to the parking lot that is about the size of a soccer field with an area of 100 meters by 40 wide of white dirt ... Sign indicating that you have arrived at Zazil Tunich when entering the parking lot, you must identify the entrance to the park with a wooden sign that says Zazil Tunich which is between 2 leafy trees and a wooden wall that holds some wicker lamps behind a high garden, built with a curved stone wall, there you must park, go around that garden and enter where the wicker lamps are, after approximately 50 meters you will reach the reception, a circular building and a xmen (Mayan priest) will announce your arrival; And this is where a unique, extraordinary and unforgettable experience begins!!!
