What time are the tours?

The facilities open from 11am, but you can only experience the experience with a tour at 3pm, 5pm and 7pm, before that it is without a guide and has the same price.

How far are they from Valladolid, Mérida and Cancún?

We are 25 minutes from the center of Valladolid, 2 hours from Cancún and 2 hours from Mérida.

Do you have transportation service?

Yes, but we only have transportation from Valladolid, the transportation picks you up at your hotel, brings you to live your experience, waits 2 hours and returns you to your hotel, 1 to 4 people for $800 pesos mx, if you want a number more people contact us. 

How safe is the road?

The road to get there is very safe, only from the section from Yalcobá to the cenote it is recommended to reduce speed since it is a rural road, it is also recommended to download the map on Google Maps, since in this area there is not always a good signal and In order to keep the place private, we do not have signs on the road, but we will always be available to help you with your arrival.

How many people can access per time?

The maximum capacity per time is 20 people, this only varies if there are more people in a time but from the same group, then access to the entire group would be possible.

Can children live the experience?

 Of course! Children can experience Zazil Tunich as the cenote is not very deep, making it ideal for them to safely enjoy this experience

It is very important to keep minors under supervision and calm to avoid affecting the experience of other visitors on the same tour

Do you have any discounts for seniors, minors or locals?

Currently we do not offer any type of discount.

What types of experiences do they have?

We have the basic product called “Mayan underworld” that includes access, guided tour and swimming, this same experience can be complemented with very traditional food, either in a Mayan dining room or bonfire and the most special one that can only really be experienced In Zazil Tunich the meals are inside the cenote 20 meters underground.

Among other types of products we have weddings, marriage proposals, anniversaries, retreats, lodging, incentive trips for companies, meals in large groups, we handle these separately since an exact quote is made according to the needs.

What do romantic dinners include and what do they not include?

Include:

Is there a food option for vegans or vegetarians?

For vegans or vegetarians we have the option of chaya tamales, made with local corn dough, vegetable oil and freshly cut chaya leaf, accompanied by a tomato sauce that closes the perfect flavor.

Likewise, if you have some more explicit dietary restrictions, you can easily let us know so we can support you with customized foods.

Can I request a more personalized and private experience?

Of course, contact us directly, tell us about your idea to make it a reality, we already have pre-made packages, but everything can be made to measure.

Can I rent the cenote exclusively?

Yes, it is possible to rent for a minimum of 2 hours up to 1 full day, contact us to tailor your experience.

Do you have accommodation?

We currently have some very traditional cabins exclusively for 2 people, with a bed in the air, a beautiful hand-painted mural of birds from the region, a bathroom without a door and hot water, for greater connection, in the cabins there is no Wi-Fi, but Yes we have in common areas.

When staying in the cabins you have access included between 9am to 11am, exclusive access for village guests.

Is the cenote deep for swimming at night?

The cenote is totally ideal to access at night or day, since the bottom is firm and visible at all times, the deepest part of the cenote is currently 1.8m to 2m and on the banks it is lower, this makes it ideal to appreciate the beauty of the place from the water or in the same way for water ceremonies or rituals.

How long does the activity last?

The experience of the tour and tour with dinner has an average duration of 2 hours, and may be less or more time.

How far in advance should I reserve?
